So to the large mass of people thinking that I'm just someone who is lazy, it's not true at all. I spend a lot of time looking over your art, and I have a lot to say about it. Most of the time, I don't feel comfortable saying it.

Musings of a PessimistIn the rolling, desolate Abyssal plains of Despair, time is not measured in the methodical passing of seconds. Rather, it is measured by the footprints upon the barren soil. These prints, markings of another's passing upon a human soul meander here or there, some crossing over each other where memories have been stamped out by fresher recollections. Pregnant, roiling storm clouds mar the once blue sky, but never have graced the earth with their children of energy and life. At the very edge of this plain, lies the only splash of color in an otherwise dreary world. A brilliant, yet small, fMusings of a Pessimist

"They're both magic. If you can't learn to ride an elephant, you can at least learn to ride a horse."
"What's an elephant?"
"A kind of badger."
- Equal Rites, Terry Pratchett
As for giving critique (as you mention in your journal), your own art skill has very little to do with how good critique you can give. Most real-world critics could hardly recognize a paintbrush/movie camera/whatever if they saw it, and still they can judge if they like a piece of art or movie just fine. If a spectator think there is something technically wrong with a piece of art, it's nothing wrong with the spectator. Something is off in their eye, and that's a fact. So don't be shy.
(Beside the point, but you DO have a good gallery here too, so it's certainly nothing to feel insecure over!)
